Post by vinnie1 Sat Oct 15 2011, 20:12

hi,can anybody advise me? my friends relationship has broken down and she is looking for a new home for her dog.He is 5 or 6 years old and is a blue brindle staffy.I would love to have him but am worried he would fight with my 1 year old staff i already have, mine is entire and the blue is castrated,do you think they would fight? my staff loves all dogs and has never shown agression towards other dogs but i am not shure what the other dog is like with other dogs.HELP ME PLEASE!!!! Crying or Very sad [i]

Sorry I have no experience of this but have read on a previous post about dogs meeting on neutral ground. Someone else here will be more experienced I am sure and be able to answer more professionally. Good luck anyway, hope it works out.

Hi and welcome from us and Suki. Try taking the dogs for a walk together with the handlers in the middle and the dogs on opposite sides. Then while on leash let them interact. This should let you see how they get along and if the can coexist with each other.
