rescue staff
Hi
Im just wanting a bit of advice about a rescue staff,Me and my oh had a long talk yesterday and we have decided we are going to get a rescue one in the future,Do the rescue centres give them there vaccines and if its a dog we go for will it be castrated or spayed if we decide to go for a bitch. We havent a clue with never having a rescue dog.We have friends with staffs but they have had them from pups of breeders. But we dont want to buy a pup again of a breeder we want to give a rescue a good home.Ant info would be appreciated

Re: rescue staff
At a stafford breed rescue they are very reluctant to rehome any dog with multi household dogs its just there way of securing the home will be a forever one they will only make exceptions if they know you have loads of experience with the breed.
At a varied dog rescue then they will rehome and they will neuter and a vet will check the dog before rehoming good luck with that

Re: rescue staff
Great thing to do Why not go straight to the shelter and ask there advice.
They will talk you through all circumstances/procedures/health etc.

Re: rescue staff
I know it might not sound very nice but we are not looking into rehoming yet.My oh and me agreed we would only do this when we loose are old boy and we are hoping this isnt for a long time yet.And we would get one for a long while after we loose him,This wouldnt place him whats so ever we just want to rescue one next time round and give it a forever home. And give it the love and comfort it needs
