its says on the bag it cointains 6 and 3 fatty acids ,citrus antixdiants nutrient rich kelp reduces flatulent odours we need that with our dogs.promotes healthy digestion plus healthy immune system.contains no soya no dairy no artifical colours or flavours and no added wheat. it sounds okay it takes its name from the 19th centurygreat grandfather harrington started milling in yorkshire ansd that its a proud family tradition of producing top quality pet foods it sounds ok just hope my doggies like it

I don't understand nutritional values, I was on Royal Canin recommended by the vets and now James Welbeloved, recommened here (thank you guys). Anythings better than Bakers imo.

Have you thought about raw feeding?

Some dogs just don't like dry food.

We raw feed Rascal and it's been fabulous. Her teeth are great, her coat is great and I feel good knowing I'm giving her fresh, natural food - the food she was built to eat Smile (Thanks Caryll for sharing your Raw feeding advice and experiences!)

I feed dry food as a staple and then raw food as and when i buy it. Romeo will have a small amount of dry in the morning and then a lamb spine bone for example in the evening. I've worked out when hes 'in the mood' for food (haha) he likes to eat at 5am just before i take him out for his morning walk. He'll also be more eager to eat his food when the kitten comes in as she loves his food too and will steal it! Laughing I feed him James wellbeloved and i'm very happy with his condition and muscle tone. None of the foods that are sold in the supermarket are very good to be honest, but if your dog enjoys it and is in good condition then carry on.
When introducing a new food you should mix it with the old one first and gradually reduce the old one each day.

It is definately better than Bakers! Harringtons when it first came out about a year ago was actually a very good food, however recently they have not only changed the packaging but have changed the ingredients too. Before it did contain cereals (which are not digestible to a dog and are just filler) but at a lower ratio to the meat which is in it. Now however the cereals are the top ingredient, my girls dont get cereals, they are not digestible and pointless to feed plus they can agravate dogs with sensitive skin.

Its not the worst food but its not great either you would be better off feeding them pets at home's wainwrights or james well beloved!

Please don't feed before a walk! You're asking for problems with bloat & gastric torsion, which can lead to a very swift and painful death!

I feed wainwrights a little bit of wet and the rest dry and I swear by it! Sandi's coat is in great condition and her number 2's are better on it too! Also if you buy the big bag it is really not that expensive. I think around £32 for a 15kg bag. I did loads of research before buying it and i think it is really good food for the money.
