WHAT BREED ARE THESE 2??

Hey guys, i have my 2 baby girls here and am currently having an argument over their breed.. i say they are staffys and my grandmother says they are not.. what do you all think?

Yeah I would deffo agree, staffs.

Without KC papers and pedigree history hard to know if they are full staff or have something mixed in at some point but a first look would say staffy.

my rellies are trying to tell me they both have pitt bull terrier in them? im not sure though...

Have you got papers? If not its just a staffy x (I use the term 'just' loosely as there is nothing wrong with a cross!)

no i dont have papers for either.. i love them both to death (even no lexi is the BIGGEST pain haha ) and was just curious to see what others thought

Na its a common thing for people to say though as American Pitbull Terriers are breed from the same types of dogs to Staffys lol. Bulldog and terrier but with different types of bulldog and terrier giving different end results, thats from what I know anyway.

Although just because a dog does not conform to the breed standard does not mean its not full staffy, if could be just an out of standard dog, but as I say without papers you will never know.

American Pitbulls are taller and have longer noses for a start normally, but it really is hard to tell. An exactly why its madness that dogs are getting put to sleep over here as they are thought to be "pitbull type". BSL is just pure madness anyway I know people who have had pits and they are the same as staffs so loving and gentle if brought up right. They need to do away with stupid BSL laws and educate people that its not the breed thats the problem but the owners of the dogs.

this is a show dog at a glance pet can be + / - the height or weight but if your dogs are alot more then they may fall under a type

i agree with you totally, makes me wild that they ban them and put them down.. its a load of crap, any dog can be aggressive if its not brought up correctly!

i agree and say they look staffy too me! .. .. if they are cross i highly doubt that its with pit .. like i always say .. pit is the easiest thing for alot of people to say un-educated on the breed lol

Honestly, I don't see Pit Bull in either of them and I am a Pit Bull advocate living in the US, so I have seen my share of Pits! They look pretty close to pure bred Staffords to me.

Can't see any pit in them, to be honest. How tall are they? difficult to see from the pic.

They both look full staffy. Pitbulls generally have squarer heads. Idiots that know nothing about dog breeds will call any short coated muscley dog a pitbull.
