Friends options

First topic message reminder :

Could you add an option to send an e-mail out when someone sends you a friends request? When I accepted my first request a few weeks ago I had no idea one had been made since I don't frequently check my profile page. I also noticed there are a few members that are on here quite alot and have zero friends.

Ok, so what is the thing with friends? We can't pm, half of the friends I have are not here anymore and I have about 20 requests to accept that I haven't a clue what members they are

Why is there no pm feature?

Just because it has caused problems in the past.

I'm really glad there is no PM function. The forum wouldn't be half as social if there was.

David used to say that if certain people could pm a lot of members would be bullied and tormented. He said people like me would chat just because i dont like to say no and upset people and i would take comments to heart and get upset, so i am glad for one
