woody finally tires!

finally found a way to tire his lordship out first thing in the morning. take him out for a 2 hour walk in the blazing morning sunshine , meet a 7 stone boxer (gorgeous by the way) let them chase each other for 30 minutes, meet a similar age staffy Ruby (again gorgeous) at the next field and let them chase each other and have rough and tumble for 20 minutes and walk home at a speed which does not allow for lying down in the cool grass. result = one tired Woody. now for me lazing in the garden time!

Sounds like a great morning for both you and Woody.

It's awesome when they meet other lovely dogs and have a great play and run around.
Works a treat to burn off some of that Staffy Energy.

Haha good routine there, its always good when they tire so you got chance too.

he's still lazing around but the heat today may have something to do with that!

Suki will usually tire for about 6 hours or so before she needs a second outing. Since your morning sounded so similar to her routine I was curious to see how fast Woody recovered so I could compare.

Amazing how much energy they have isn't it.
When I see Winston racing around like a looney, having his mad minute.. I am jealous. I wish I had some of his energy!!

i aam sitting in the sun reading and having a few beers so im not sure if he does find any energy in a bit that we will be going out!!!

we both loved it ella. i love seeing him with new dogs. its also nice being the one to encourage other dog owners to have the confidence to let their dog off lead with woody if they are a bit scared their dog will play too rough...... woody and rough are suited!

Sounds great! Do you think you could do it every morning? haha

unfortunately its only gping to be weekends, im at work for 7am in the week. going to try it again tomoro though as one of the owners was quite cute!

jstaff - still tired out 11 hours on!!!!

Ok, now I need tips. Moo is out for 5 hours and she still wants to play! Granted she doesn't have play mates, wish she did, but she just doesn't stop. Loosing my weekday walker shortly and am panicing! x

janeyits definitely the playmates that tire him out, he never tires just out with me. off out again soon so hoping there are playmates for him again today

hows the fly ball going

flyball is fab lynne. ive posted a link to some facebook pictures of him doing it somewhere, i struggle to take pics myself and control him at same time but the club haveput some on their site

and Lynne, I can vouch the pics of Woody in action are brilliant !!!
