Harv just gave us a fright!

We were sorting things out upstairs and harv was sat watching he then wandered off to go down stairs and he must have missed the first step or something and fell down the whole flight of stairs, and they are just plain wooden boards with no carpet! I've never seen my OH move so quick he flew down the stairs, only to see harv sat in the front room on a pile of towels he'd pulled down!

He didn't even seem bothered and gave us a funny look when we were fussing him so much, no harm done but still daft lad.

Yer he seems fine, checked him over but he's been playing and chasing the OH around so looks like he's fine!

Maxi threw her self down the stairs the other day scared the life out of me she landed on the cat who wasnt happy about it glad Harveys ok

pleased to hear Harvey did not injure himself in his fall
but then, dogs seem much hardier than us humans

but besides not being good for the dog, its hard on the pocket too, as the vet bills for broken bones can be very frightening,
when ratty was just a puppy, he fell down a small hole and fractured his leg near the shoulder blade, and when we got to the vets they wanted £100.00 up front before they examinded and x rayed him, the actual treatment was extra to that too
and at the time he did not belong to us, as we were just looking after him as he was an unwanted pet, and some one was supposed to be having him , but changed their minds,
and that was three years ago and he's still with us

Thanks everyone, in the end he just took all the fur off his knees on his back legs, but i don't think he's that bothered i had a look and he didn't flinch so they can't be that sore

milly has fallen down the stairs once luckily she was fine she frightened me.I was worried sick she just got up and carried on like nothing had happened
