vaccination

Post by izzyrose on Mon Aug 01 2011, 13:49

My boy is 10years old and always had this , the time is coming up for the booster, I am wondering if this is still necessary, he never goes into kennels, and it seems these nasty infections are not so common these days. i would welcome some thought on this.

From what I've heard it isn't as necessary when they are older, but I would probably still get them until my vet said it wasn't necessary.

Read this - especially page 7 "Revaccination of dogs". You'll see that, as long as your dog has had its puppy vaccines & the first annual booster, it only needs boosters every 3 years thereafter........

Herman gets all the usual vaccinations. we skip vaccinations for extremely rare and obscure stuff. it's amazing how many vaccinations are out there now. confused
