Pretty sure lockdown hasnt been ended....

So we all went for a walk through a popular woodland area near our house, yes its Sunday but it was particularly packed... keeping both dogs on their leads, we carried on through the woods. We saw a large retriever looking thing wondering around which eventually approached Mollie on her lead. Mollie is dog reactive only when on lead.... great. Mollie snapped as expected and nipped the other dog. The owners did nothing but call their dog away and made a comment about checking to see if he was okay.

I mean, really.

a) your dogs supposed to be on a lead atm due to corona. obviously unaware it can be carried on their coat
b) if you see other dogs on a lead, put yours on too. What happened to dog etiquette!

But hey, we've got the staffy right, amazed this didn't blow up and escalate into something more!

Oh and to top it off.... a puppy Labrador turned the corner on the lead and the owner made it quite clear "you cant say hello to those dogs".

We’re in phase 1 deconfinement and I took the girls to the bridlepaths this afternoon. It was not the greatest hour as loads of cyclists and quite a few walkers.

But wow, half of the people never returned a “hello” and they were giving nasty looks. Geez, if you’re not happy to be out in the nature, stay home !!
As to the rude cyclist who rang his bell for me to move over but never even said thank you

Don't get me wrong, i'm not disputing that no one can be out, but if your going out, then be aware of your surroundings. Loads of people still not social distancing or moving over etc... its like its gone back to normal. I totally agree, you would think being out of the house is a chore the way most act!

If anything comes out of lockdown, i wish it was that everyone continues to be caring and respectful of each other. We can only dream!
