Hi my name is Bella, it means beautiful and my new friends at SSC tell me I am very beautiful indeed.I am about ten years old and a very small and cute little Staffy lady.

I had a very sad past. My old owner used to drink a lot and get mad with me. I don't know why as I loved him very much. There were many times where he hurt me and I have two old stab wounds on my head. However I still loved him. In fact I love everyone. My walkers tell me I'm an inspiration as I haven't let my past affect me one bit. I am not a nervous girl instead I am full of the joys of spring and I literally really do love everyone. However I am very glad that the lovely Dog Warden saved me from the hurt and my friends at SSC have promised me no one will ever hurt me again - only love and cuddles from now on which is really great. I really love cuddles!

My favourite trick is a shark kiss. It involves nibbling your nose in a very overexcited licking style. I sometimes use my paws to hold you in position! I'm very good at it.

Sadly I got so excited to see one of my new humans I jumped up my kennel so high and got my toe caught and now it's broken and hurts a lot.I have to go to the vets regularly and they're helping me get better.

I'm not sure if I would be good with other dogs or cats but my friends are helping to introduce me so I'll give you an update soon.

I walk nicely on lead and I am overall a very good little girl. I just want to be best friends with all you human people. So if you're looking for a new best ask about me,

Bella is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is in foster in the Bristol area
but can be re-homed anywhere in the UK, pending a successful home visit.
However any adopter should be willing to travel to meet her where she is now.
There is an adoption donation of £90 for Bella and all money donated goes directly to helping all the Senior Staffies in our care
