Kong fillers Empty Kong fillers

Post by KMack02 Thu May 28 2015, 16:36

I'm in the process of making a kong filler from a recipe I found online, half a banana with a teaspoon of peanut-butter and some normal dry food, then frozen. I just wanted to check before I gave it to her that these ingridients are ok for her.

I also was about to throw an apple away and my daughter asked if it was ok to give it to pepper, so I just wanted to check on that too, thanks guys kiss

The banana, peanut butter and biscuits are perfect! Natural yogurt is also good, bits of meat or other treats too Smile

Apple is fine as long as you don't include the pips in the core as they can be poisonous. This link may help outline some of the main foods to avoid:

Soak the dried kibble first and mix it to a mush with the other ingredients. We just mix the soaked kibble with natural yoghurt then once almost filled put a spoon full of the yoghurt in the end.
