hate new things

well took loads of pics yesterday and today and a really funny video of billy with a lemon (it was left over from cooking)

went to try and upload the video and a few more pics and somehow, after spending a hour opening up a you tube account, mananged to wipe the memory card clean, there is nothing left on it. i am just hoping that when my sons come home later they can help, otherwise

Grrr how annoying! I hope you can get them back! Although I must admit when I put pics up of Moo the other day, my netbook which is the only one I can download on kept crashing on me, so I had a hissy fit and i ended up with the keyboard part one side of the lounge and the screen the other. Ooops!

surely the comp should say do you want to delete before doing it

thats what i feel like dpoing, instead i have just got a magners cider which i am going to drink in the garden and chill

Mine clears them too. If there saved onto the memory card it keeps them otherwise it wipes the entire camera, i learnt the hard way!

boy I can only imagine how I would be if I wiped all my photos off..reckon I would be in the looney bin !!

Oh...I know hpw you feel. I thought i'd done the same thing with some pics of a family holiday....really got myself worked up over it. Anyway about 5 or 6 wks later I found them in a completely different folder within another folder on my pc. Geezz, was I happy.

Hope your sons can help you out and restore or recover or find them. I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed.

When I managed to wipe all my holiday pics off my camera memory card my son managed to find a downloadable programme that 'rescued' them. No idea how he did it, but if you don't have any luck, I'll ask him what he did.
