so i took howie outfor his usual 7am walk and as usual he was off the lead, when a van pulled up beside me and i hear a voice "excuse me, your doing a fanastic job with him, i watch you 2 every morning and you are doing great." i see this van out every morning (i think he delivers papers) and turns out he sees me too. and he went on to say how great it is to see and how well behaved he was. proud daddy moment right there!!

Ok, I've got a confession to make. I've got a bit of a soft spot for young Howie, and this makes me feel proud of him too.

Thanks liz, I'll let him know he has an admira lol. And thank you everyone else for your comments, he had his moments but when it comes to walking off the lead he's pretty good. Just got to try and stop him straying when someone walks past
