Mixing a staff with Lab X Empty Mixing a staff with Lab X

Post by JayGrant Tue Nov 25 2014, 15:37

Hi Everyone,

Hoping someone can give me an answer.
I have a Lab X. He is 5 and about the same size as a staff.
We were looking into getting a staff and are going to go out to dogs trust.
For some reason he doesn't really like dogs bigger than him.
Was just wondering if anyone would know if a staff would be suitable for him?
Thanks.

I think the only way you will know is to choose a dog to rescue then introduce your current dog to him/her at the rescue centre and see if they get on. There's no other way to know I'm afraid Smile

We have a lab x retriever and a staffie, and they get on brilliantly. I agree with the others, it's down to individual personalities at the end of the day.

Totally depends on personality. My last lab x foster bullied the hell out of Bug and bit me! Our friends lab gets on with bug like a house on fire and they play brilliantly.
