Crying Lost a friend

Post by Jenc Fri Oct 17 2014, 20:26

Went for a walk tonight with one of Katy's boyfriends, Timothy a cocker spaniel. Her dad was telling me about her other friend Max a working cocker. He is adorable but the last time they were playing together his mum said it was his 1st walk of the day @ 3pm!!!!!!!  Timothy's dad said a while ago that Max doesn't get walked much & is crated the rest of the time (he's the same age as Katy)
Anyway he told me tonight that Max was PTO last week!!! I couldn't believe it as he was such a healthy happy boy. Apparently he bit the mother in law on the arm & its not his 1st biting incident.
Such a shame but a working cocker crated for at least 18 hours a day will need to let off some energy & 1 walk a day wont be enough. Am I right to be B****Y annoyed angry

I think you're completely right to be annoyed, dogs need exercise for body health and mental health Sad

Thats awful looks like the owner was looking for an excuse to pit the dog to sleep he only has himself to blame for the dog biting if indeed he did bite anyone poor dog

Thats terrible, people shouldnt buy dogs with out knowing the full extent off the exercise they will need, I have 2 english springer spaniels they are now 12 and 13 and they get 2 walks a day off lead the walks last for an hour, gun dogs need alot of exercise, people just dont realise this I hate how many spaniels are walked on the lead.
