Thank God axl can't spell

Axl gets frequent ear problems and he hates drops being put in. Over time he recognised the word "ear" and if anyone says it he runs for the hills! He's got another ear infection and the drops have come out again, this time around we spell the word ear out "can you do his e a. r. Drops" so glad he can't spell lol!

I've also accidentally taught him the word biscuit too, say that and he will drop whatever he's doing and sit nicely at your feet bless him!

Anyone else have to spell words rather than say them?

Yes! S.T.I.C.K if you say that she automatically wherever we are sits in pounce position lol

Mia can spell biscuit if i say to her u want a biscuit she runs for the cupboard often all i have to say is what do you want? Looks at me tilts her head howls and runs for the cupboard.

Yes we have to spell, steak, walk, play, eat and quite a few others. Suki is bilingual now for the things she likes

Flo runs a mile from any spray. Being deaf she doesn't know words as such. She's good with hand signals and gestures but amazingly she can hear you open a packet

I do think she can lip read though, if we say HAM in front of her she goes straight to the kitchen

Aww bless Gordon, I love kisses lol. I forgot about night night, Axl knows this one too although we say "beddie byes" and he'll do the same, he gets the best spot in the bed! lol

We have to spell walk or Oz goes crackers and on our way out stick, so he can carry it on his walk (surprise surorise)
