Good deed for the day Empty Good deed for the day

Post by Sazzle Sun Aug 24 2014, 10:22

Just set off on our morning walk and noticed a Yorkshire terrier behind us, there was a couple walking up the road opposite and they have one so I just thought it was theirs off the lead (though a bit strange as it's not usually)

Anyway got round the corner and a bit further up it was still behind us and I couldn't see the people so decided to wait and let it catch us up, next thing it started crossing the road in front of a car, which luckily stopped! The guy got out and i managed to get hold of it, had a tag on so the guy said he'd take it but he had his dog (randomly another yorkie) on the back seat and it started barking at the lost dog as soon as he opened the door so that wasn't going to work!

I have a chain extension on my lead which was to stop Daisy biting it and I've just never taken it off so I used that as a lead and took it back myself. Daisy was so good didn't bat an eyelid about it walking with us! When I got to the house the lady said it was her friends dog and she thought it had gone back upstairs to bed!

So that's our good deed for the day!  Smile

Well done Saz, good job the car stopped in time. I always carry a spare lead in my back pack for just such an occurance, not too sure how Rocky would reacts to having another dog walked with him that he didn't know ? small dogs he usually gets on very well with though.
