Maisie's Page

This is for Maisie or “Crazy Maisie” as we call her.

She is the only dog we have left in the rescue now that Duke has found his forever home https://staffy-bull-terrier.niceboard.com/t51203-duke-diary-of-a-rescue-ambull. I can now devote more time to Maisie so I thought I would share with all you great people to give her some exposure.

Maisie will be our final dog in the rescue as Yvonne, after years of doing animal welfare and dog rescue wants a normal life without the stress and expense of running a rescue. It has been my very great privilege to be involved in the rescue since I moved down here to West Wales in 2012 and I have enjoyed every minute of working with the dogs.

Maisie we think had been used as breeding bitch before she came to us. She was very shut down but she slowly came out of herself to become the fabulous dog she is now. She has never been keen on other dogs but we have had her out walking with them and she has been fine so my task now is to see if I can socialise her a bit more and get her walking nice on lead which she can do but it still needs a little more work. She is totally people friendly like most staffies, has been good with children but she is not cat safe. Maisie is now a total cuddle monster and loves a good hug with kisses. She is one of those dogs that will roll in anything smelly she can find.
