Wetting the bed!

My 12 and a half year old Staffie male has started pee'in in his own bed, this is the 3rd time I have noticed it. He sleeps in our bed so doesn't sleep in his own but I'm just wondering if there could be a reason as to why he has started doing this? We also have an 8 month old baby that at 1st when we brought her home, we had issues with our dog but he has come round now, could it still be because of her? Any help would be appreciated as we live in a private let and I don't want him to start pee'in everywhere!

Have you considered popping him to the vet to rule out a urinary tract infection?

I haven't yet no, thought it was maybe more a behaviour thing, its as if he's marking his territory, I was gonna give the vet a call to see if he knew why, maybe just do that, thanks Smile

Marking doesn't normally involve emptying the bladder. It could be worth a quick visit Smile

Definitely worth a quick trip to the vets. Maisey started weeing in Roxie's bed (she doesn't have her own as sleeps on our bed). Thought she was just being naughty but when she went for her monthly blood test mentioned it and it turned out she had a urinary track infection. 2 weeks antibiotics and she hasn't done it since.
