dog friendly cottage recommended, Melrose, in the Borders

Just thought I would let people know about this little gem. We stayed here on a cycling weekend, and noticed it was dog friendly. Bow cottage is located just off Melrose high street, in a lovely sunny spot. Its a 2 bed, 4 person cottage with great facilities, nice kitchen, 1 showeroom, loo, large living room with dining area, and a small paved area outside. The owner left milk, bread, tea, coffee etc, and left us a lemon drizzle cake for our arrival! There was a spare lead and box of dog biscuits in a cupboard too!!
Melrose and the surrounding area is a stunning place for dog walking and this cottage makes a great base!

Looks like a great place to stay. I've been wanting to take a trip North and this could be great. The surrounding area looks perfect for walking.
