Stupid people

Just read a few threads about the ignorance of some people, just thought I'd share some of my 'run ins'

1. Bloke out walking his JRT, sees Meg and picks his dog up. Says to me 'Keep THAT under control or I'll hit it with my stick'. I blew my top and said 'You so much as touch her with a stick and it'll be interesting watching the paramedics trying to retrieve that stick from up your a**e. It's not the dog you ought to be worried about, pal, it's me!'

2. Bloke out walking his Highland Terrier says nervously, 'I hope he's had his breakfast!'. My reply 'Yeah, bud, SHE'S full, she already eaten 2 Yorkies and a Jack Russell'

3. Woman out with her Yorkshire Terrier. 'Don't go near that dog (can't remember the name), you'll get eaten'. My reply 'It's OK, love, she doesn't eat rats, there's not enough meat on them'

Sorry had to laugh   

Scenario 2 has happened a few times and my reply has been similar. Always, she's eaten already, and give them that wry grin.

It's just so nuts that these people think Staffs eat anything... My Flo is very particular about what she eats

Had a similar comment off some stupid old hag the other day about Bane eating her dogs for breakfast...Bane was sitting there doing nothing while her fluffy things were yapping away at him, nasty little sh***!

I had another one 2 days ago. Woman telling her dog 'Don't go over there, you'll get bitten'. Some people are unbelievable

Thanks, Mark, Beau's not so bad herself! The picture to the right is a bit deceiving because she's stretching her neck to look at another dog that appeared whilst I was taking the photos. She weighs 16 kilos and is full of muscle and as strong as an ox!

I hate those coments. Few days ago was walking Debo, he was of the lead, then I saw a women walking with her German Sheperd, I put Debo on the lead, and she said " Look ( name of the dog), it's one of those dogs, it will kill you". I just said " Debo, don't look that way, she's old and stupid". Look on her face - priceless

The ones that ask 'is your dog ok?' to which I go into a long winded answer about how depressed she is at the moment - funny to see how long you can keep them there Xx

the one with kids and pull the kids away from stroking your dog in case he/she bites them..my reply....."aaaawww   come back he love's kids....can't eat a whole one..but likes them all the same...and his favourites are the McDonald marinated ones"...

And the one's who pick up their little toy poodle's/Yorkshire terriers...you know the snappy one's called tiger or something stupid..? and look at you as if you're dog is just about to devour their precious little smooshy-coom's ...."look he's fine..with small dogs seiroulsy....well say fine..most of the time...but its the small bones see....get stuck in the back of his throat...and poodle's give him diarrhoea and a upset tummy....so I've cut that down to one a month".....

Hate how people assume ur dogs vicious someone gave mia a dirty look the other day i said its fine shes had 2 kids for her breakfast pmsl its the yorkshire terriers that need put on the dangeous dogs list. I havent come across a docile one yet

Years ago when Brody was about 1 I was walking him and I did have him off the lead but I didn't see a family sitting next to the river.. Well Brody ran over to say hello and started playing with there spaniel that was also off the lead and the man got up and actually kicked Brody in the chest saying them dogs aren't allowed off the lead... That when I first realized how stupid and nasty some people are.

Last week in the bank I was setting up a meeting for a mortgage and she asked a few questions about where I'd like to find a house and I said oh anywhere around here but must have a nice garden for my dogs.. She said with a smile what dogs do you have.. So I said a staffy and 2 staffy crosses.. She just replied with a bad attitude "oh"
Really annoyed me lol

I'm sad to say that probably everyone on this site's had some of this rubbish shown to them. I met an old woman with a Yorkie like that and when i stated that any dog can be aggressive she said "Yeah but they don't put Yorkies on treadmills". Well 2 hours later i finally finished burying her in the garden and it's not bad at all. Always remember you're never alone.

A woman told me that you have to be careful of Staffies because of their high prey drive!! I told her it's the PLAY drive you need to worry about.

It's too easy for people to get dogs, especially th e idiots of this world who think it's fashion statement or worse a relacement parent because they can't be bothered. Years ago i had a Yorkie, she was 9 years old and been dumped in the kerb as her breeding days were over so not profitable to the heartless scum that had bred her. When she was cleaned up and washed and cut etc you'd never have seen sush a happy dog, she trotted along with a big smile on her face and a "Look look" grin on her face. I know it's a pain some times with some of them but it ultimately comes back to the owners not the breeds.
