Puppy's joints click Empty Puppy's joints click

Post by Highlands-Brody Sat May 03 2014, 21:31

I have noticed Skye's joints click and she's only coming up 11weeks old. Could I put her on glucosamine & chon pills thst Brody is on? Or would this cause problems? I have googled it and It looks like its a good idea but I'd like to hear your opinions. Also after seeing another thread id like to ask what's the best wormer that covers every worm.
Thanks

I use drontal but doesn't cover lung worm, we're of the vets next week so we'll ask for millbemax xx definitely try salmon oil it's great Smile

I think you can give glucosamine & chondroitin at any age. I've started giving Cortaflex to Toots following her leg injury. it's a supplement not a medicine.
Agree with Hayley about the milbemax. I am going to give that to mine instead of Drontal for the lungworm prevention.

Well just back from vets and they just recommended the advocate but how on earth do you apply it without getting runs and soaking the hairs lol

We have been using Drontal wormer for Rocky but the last couple of times he had it it made him sick. I think they may have changed the formular of it. May consider changing him back to Milbemax too. Will speak to the vet and see what she says.
