How often a day are you feeding her? And what brand is the tinned puppy food? Smile

She's been on butchers puppy food and I'm feeding twice a day

Ok at her age she should be having at least 3/4 meals a day and butchers is really awful food full of fillers and additives. I think the change in food will be the cause of the loose poops. I'd switch back to dry food, maybe James well beloved or wainwrights, there are lots of good mid priced food out there, if she's not eating the dry you could try adding a little water to it to soften it Smile

For putting weight on i'd really recommend nature diet, I always fed it to my skinny dogs in kennels. There's a puppy variety. I order from berrywoods wholesaler online, but you can get it in pets at home. I agree, I'd be feeding 3 times a day, four if you want to get weight on!

Thanks for your replies I've been out and brought some James well beloved lamb and rice also a couple of packets of the wet food so I can mix it up with just a spoonful

I hope pup likes the new food! Bane was under weight and it took us a few months to get him looking healthy as he had so many growth spurts! We fed him 4 times a day to keep his energy up and reduce any possibility of bloat and fed just over the recommended amount for his age.
