should I dip Tip while she is in heat? Empty should I dip Tip while she is in heat?

We dip weekly as we live on a smallholding and I'm just wondering if I should dip her now that she is in season. I know it seem like a silly question but I don't want her to get sick.  day dreaming we never had a female in season as we normally have them spayed at six months. Due to some personal difficulties we been unable to have Tip done yet.

No dipping as a measure to combat ticks and fleas. I don't have much faith in powders for it. If used correctly is kills the culprits. Just worried that her being in heat might make dipping her a bit difficult.

I can't see why it would but I also don't don't use treatments unless necessary. What are they dipped in out of interest I have never heard of doing it x

Do you really need to use that product? That is a pretty hardcore pesticide and mainly used for treating mange infestations. Not healthy for your dog, you or the environment.

Because we have a lot of livestock grazing around our property we have a major problem with ticks on our dogs. The jack russel cross also is prone to mange. Its due to this that our vet suggested this product. I llost a dog to mange it is not a pretty sight and we dip the dogs that don't have the mange issue with what they recommend for tick and fllea treatment.
I tried the normal flea powders and shampoos but it hardly affected the ticks and fleas

Have another word with your vet/ veterinary nurse; a quick phone call should put your mind at ease.  Smile
