Amstaff or Pitbull?

Hello All,

Would anyone possibly be able to tell me if this is an Amstaff or Pitbull or one of these cross?
This is my brothers dog who I brought for him last year, the breeder told me he was an Amstaff but he is very tall and looks to me like he is cross with something? He is a gorgeous boy though and lives with my brother and his two daughters  

there was only 2 amstaffies in the uk both was males when they was banned so not very likely to be one of them, look like an cross breed to me

he looks like a staffy mastiff cross to me, or something similar as steve said amstaffs and pits have long been banned in the UK so very unlikely to be one

Looks like a cross. Amstaffs are recognised here (my Vinny is a purebred and Roxy is amstaff X English) and they are a bit wider but leggy too.

He is very handsome
