Raw Salmon Empty Raw Salmon

I'm been given some fresh raw salmon for my dog!
I've been reading about Salmon Poisoning Disease which only affects dogs?
Can anyone give me feed back on this please!

The parasite that can be present in salmon is a problem if the salmon is from the pacific northwest, elsewhere is ok.

Do you know where the salmon was caught?

I think freezing it for a certain amount of time makes it OK? I haven't fed raw salmon though x
