The name on the label is Dorwest Veterinary Garlic Tablets
Ingredients.. Garlic powdered 30 mg + Oil of Garlic 0.001ml
Dosage 1 Tablet per 5kgs bodyweight - Lucy is 11kgs so I would be giving her 2 a day.
Its a herbal medicine for coughs and bronchial conditions, and an aid to maintaining general health in dogs.
A family member bought them for me as a gift.

These are the ones i guess

yep i can see the dosage, as she's so young i would personally start with the one tablet whilst she gets used to it and then increase as she grows and gets older

Thank you,
Lucy is healthy and has a shiny coat, so it wouldn't have entered my mind that she needed anything else to add to her diet.
Is it wise to start when there is no need health-wise at the moment; or should I give it to her as a preventive?

It's not a necessity but if you want to give garlic why not give a little fresh crushed garlic instead, a lot cheaper.

I use fresh garlic to flea my boys, and at her age and size i'd give half a crushed clove a couple of times a week.

Thanks- as I was given the tablets as a present; I think I might use a couple now and again just to not seem ungrateful until they are all used up, then revert to fresh!
