Omg I have some sad news!

Heard today a man that lives by us was walking his dog in the woods and the wild boar came out of nowhere and attacked the dog!! £500 vets bill now I will be nervous about walking the woods   

 that is sad news

Yeh its awful Steve, they should be doing something about them now.
I don't know why they don't section parts of the woods off and enclose them so peeps can view them without fear of any attacks. Our local MP is useless and I don't think until anyone of importance gets involved anything will be done!

Yes seen about 2 dozen all together a few months ago!
My Dad saw a sow the other day who was giving birth to piglets hence he was able to take a good pic

Aww no how awful, do be careful you and vin won't you, though I don't doubt you'd pick vin up to protect him no matter how big he is, in emergencies we find extra strength xx

No on my dads camera will try and get them to post

Thanks Stella I am afraid if you want to walk here apart from the roads its all woods and they are every where now, when you think they are having babies every 6 weeks and having 12/13 piglets at one time then you can imagine how many of them there is xx

I admit to bias against pigs - never liked them, horrible creatures - and why they were ever re-introduced into this country as wild animals I will never understand.

OMG Piglet thats terrible, be careful looked after yourself too as well as precious Vin as they can be really aggressive
