Stupid drivers!

Been at dinner club tonight and when we left it has started snowing, pretty heavy but its so wet wasn't really settling until I get back to my end off town of course!!

The road leading up to mine is a steep hill and has cars parked all down one side, you can just about get two cars passed each other but not when its snowing! So I approach this bit and yay no car coming down so thankfully I don't have to stop, I start making my way up and see a car approaching the top, they will wait obviously, yes they pulled in to wait, all good, then they decide not to wait pull out and start coming down, realize that was a bad idea and stop in the middle of the road!! So I'm coming up towards them skidding from side to side, no way I can physically get my car passed them but can't stop as might not get started again, my only hope is to try and go up the curb! Luckily this works, stupid stupid woman, I;m still shaking now!!! Grrrrrrr rant over, thanks for reading!! xx

I'm still pretty shocked I managed to pull it of, my car is rubbish in snow and I'm not confident driving in it at all!!

it's deadly up your way i can remember being up there once  we nearly crash going down the one deep hill

Its all hills! On the plus side I'll never get flooded!

The rule of the road, especially in slippery weather, is that the car going uphill has presedence. Shame on that stupid person, they should learn some manners.

Some people just don't think do they, I don't enjoy driving in snow either and have had to handle some major slides when driving, I think the main thing is not to panic and keep calm and keep away from the break pedal and this just makes things worse.

If I do slide I just go with it until I have control again and some grip, well this is what I do anyway.
