Dog Dies on Christmas Day From Eating a Supermarket Bone

This is happening all the time, and yet the shops are still allowed to sell them...

That's awful good job you have made us all aware Caryll.  

Plus, of course, rawhide. Just as bad.

That's truly awful poor pooch and his family god knows how they can still sell them!

that's a terrible story Caryll, even worse that it happened on that particular day.

The weird thing is that supermarkets are allowed to sell these bones, but the Elf n Safety laws have made it next to impossible to buy raw bones for dogs.

Poor dog, all it takes is a little research to see how bad the bones are

they use chemicals to strip the hide, which are absorbed as they eat it. Rawhide is also really bad for swelling up in the stomach and causes blockages which have been fatal for some dogs

O gosh, thanks, he won't be having any more of those now

better to know the dangers IMO

Like Oz, Pixee did love those, until I found out from this wonderful forum how bad they were.
