.....met mum and a friend for a quick glass of vino after work, now mum doesn't drink and is rather reserved, just got this text....

my mam used to have 2 cans of special brew then complain how ill it made her feel and not drink again for 6 months  

My Mum doesn't drink, so I don't get t from her. But she has become friendly with a couple up the road and when the patio brolley goes up my Mum says "The bars open" so 1 brandy and lemonade later she staggers back down the road!  

Ahhh your Mum sounds like me Janey, I'm such a lightweight lately because I now rarely drink at all, only the occasional glass or two then it goes straight to my head
