dog attacked my staffy

Yesterday I took my 8 month old staffs and my Shiu Tzu for a walk in some woods. It is separated from the local community by a huge gate and when I am not in the woods I always put my dogs on leads to respect the community. However some people obviously don't care. As I was walking along the very narrow stretch of gravel between the woods and the local community I noticed a loose vizsla qdog with its owner far behind. I couldn't walk around the dog so I stopped for a second to let the dogs sniff and then suddenly this dog attacked my very submissive dog shaking her about like a rag doll. The woman who owns the dog didn't even flinch and carried on strolling with her pushchair as I had to kick her dog off endangering myself. After screaming no at Tue dog and one swift boot at the nose the dog backed away only to try and lunge again only to be deterred by me scolding it. The woman was stood next to me not uttering a single.word. angry as he'll I swore aloud and demanded that her dog should be put on a lead. All she did was mutter sorry and continued with her off leash dog to walk into the park which is littered with kids and off leash dogs. Previously on my walk I had seen two small children walking leashes dacshunds. As I continued to walk home in a very upset state I heard her dog attacking another dog. Some people should not own dogs. She made me have to desperate the dogs bearing in mind I am only sixteen and I risked getting bitten myself. Daisy did not retaliate throughout the whole event proving which dog was better trained and had a far more responsible owner.

I really think you should report that to the police - it's extremely dangerous.

I know but police are useless on dog on dog attacks I'm afraid. Next time I'll take a picture and shame her by hanging it up on the gate.

Unfortunately there are a lot of people who shouldn't have dogs .. sorry to hear you came across this one.

She insisted that her dog was playing lol what an idiot. Just glad no one got hurt especially any children. thankyou for your concern let's just hope that it doesn't happen again
