Lol, it was the only way he could pick it up. Eventually he got the knack to do it quickly but still had to dig a hole everytime! He was pretty chuffed with his free frisbee he found washed up on the beach! I'm thinking those ezy dog frisbees would be good, easier to pick up.

I bought Daisy a frisby but she's not interested! It's plastic though, was thinking a soft one may be better?

Worth a try I suppose. In general, Wrigley isn't big on retrieval. We don't play with balls (summer+beach+kids=balls, don't want them getting popped by my dog) mostly we play with sticks, handy as they are everywhere on the farm/coastal, free, and doesn't matter if he gets bored and he ditches them. He'll carry a stick like it is THE best thing ever for ten min , then just drop it and walk on. I still want to try the ezy dog one though, maybe when grows up a bit and I can get a collar at the same time.

I don't have an ezydog collar but the harnesses are great
