FAO Caryll

Caryll sorry to be a mither but tonight Milly had grazed her side scratching and it looked really raw and was a bit moist so i bathed it with savlon and put one of my makeup bands around her sort of like a bandage she is not bothered about it and it is not to tight and bekive it or not she has not tried to scratch for the last 3 hours while it has been on, do you think it will be ok covering it up the band is clean and dry??

If it's a bit weepy and you can stop her licking it I'd leave it open to the air so that it can dry properly & scab over. By all means cover it when you go for a walk etc to stop anything getting in it from outside, though.

Take care with savlon, it can be a little strong for some dogs. I'd just bathe in warm salt water.
