New to Raw diet and need some help pls...

Hello Everyone,

I have slowly introduced my boy zed to the raw diet but i have just bought some hearts etc for him
(for the first time) and everyone is telling me different things. IS it ok to feed the hearts to them raw? May seem like a silly question but people keep telling me they should be cooked to get rid of any diseases or bacteria the animal may have been carrying in their blood....obviously this defeats the purpose of raw so I just wanted to double check. I have frozen them and plan on leaving them in the freezer for at least 4 days before we give them to him, is this enough?

I'm sorry I can't offer any advice but I'm sure one of our raw feeders will be along shortly

Yep everything in a raw diet is given raw

Heart is one thing I don't bother about freezing if I intend to feed it that day I do

Heart is fine raw. One of Blue's favorite meals
