Hi all new here i have eddie a 9 week old staff black n white seems some good info quick question i have him on ekunuba but his not showing much intrest vets recommended royal canine any advice on whats a good dry food ? Thanks.jay

Hi welcome! Try adding a little bit of fish or chicken to the food. No tinned tuna(high murcury), but maybe some fresh tuna fillet.

Welcome have a look through the list Janey posted for dry food brands, and I'd also recommend Wainwrights although it's not on the list. It's a good quality food and a good price too. Eddie is adorable by the way

Hi tara we got a bag of that yday as was advised to try that to as it has losts of flavours tried him this morning put 10g in his usal 50 he just nibbles n walks off hardly touch it so ill see how he gose thanks again

Your vet has probably recomended Royal Canine as they have a deal in place to sell it ?? Rocky is on Barking Heads which he loves and always eats it all up.

Has he been on barking heads since a pup i did notice the vets had advertisment for royal Caine

Doug is fed on Pero SBT (Staffordshire Bull Terrior) (dry) with 1/4 pouch of Natures Menu (wet) mixed in and he seems to like it. Pero make food for all different breeds although I'm pretty sure they are all simular! Nature's Menu is a 100% natural food with only meat and veg no nastys! Spencer's Deli - it's the same natural food as Natures menu.

I'm pretty sure all of the above make puppy versions aswell

You obviously want to feed the best quality you can afford but you also have to find something that your specific pup likes! Gwen came to us on Blue Buffalo but we wanted to get her something better so we tried her on a 1 or 2 different ones before staying with Merrick. It is a little pricey but it is worth it! Sometimes they can be very picky
