confused about which foods are safe for dogs

There are so many different lists on what is and is not safe for dogs to eat that I am totally confused. One list I found says not to give raw eggs or dairy products, yet I notice a lot of people on here feed raw eggs. I have been using natural low fat yogurt mixed with banana to stuff kongs etc, and I sometimes use cheese as well.

There's nothing wrong with a couple of raw eggs each week & some dogs do very well with a daily raw egg!

If you're going to give yoghurt, then don't get the low fat/low sugar ones - they have additives that are potentially very harmful. Use a probiotic full fat plain yoghurt.

P.S. Dairy products in general aren't very good for dogs as they can't digest the Lactose content, but a little bit of cheese occasionally or a spoonful of yoghurt does no harm at all.
