blister in paw in summer

any ideas why???

my xena seem to get what i think a blister inside her paws tomoz i will try to get a picture she had this since she was pup

Get a pic, could be a grass seed embedded

like Janey is she not just intolerant to something in the grass , didn't Dempsey have lots of problems from grass seed ??

when she start limps it look a bit of skin hanging off

ask Caryll , sure she will know something about this

A picture would be great, are you sure it's not a skin tag ?

Could be something stuck under the skin or if you are walking here on concrete or asphalt during the hot part of the day it could be a hot spot

not it not a skin tag you can see with the skin come from

Vinnie had a simular sort of thing between his toes but was walking him on a gravel track which was dusty was always washing his feet so seemed it was from that as it did clear up.

never had a problem with our 2 and I've never really fussed on over their feet , pop to the vet steve put your mind a t rest

My guess would be a grass seed but if you say that she has always suffered from this and it hasn't got worse I'm not sure. Still if you dog is limping and has been on and off for years I think you should take her to the vet andget it checked.

Darcy gets small blister looking sores occasionally, vet thinks its a grass pollen/seed allergy, they come and go, best to pop her vets

Is she sensitive to grass sap? That would explain why it's only in the summer.

Try smearing some vaseline between her toes/pads befoer she goes out & see if that stops it?
