We are lucky enough to have a wee Staffy Cross (with god know what!) in our care. She is approx 16wks old and came to us from the SPCA. Previously, we had a full Labrador so this is a bit new and scary.

Hi, Tara Smile Thanks for the welcome! I will have plenty of questions I'm sure. At this stage I'm just hoping to have a healthy and happy girl but we have concerns regarding her skin condition - the vet is unsure whether she may have mites, or is allergic to something in her environment (we've only had her a week, I need to talk to her previous foster 'mum'), or whether it's just a heat or excitement thing. She has very thin fur and is predominantly white. She has antibiotics and had an injection yesterday to see if it will come right.

So, it turns out, my little darling has Demodectic mange Sad I'm a bit gutted, I was so looking forward to giving her a life where her biggest concern was on which side of the fire would she like to sleep, but I'm staying positive and hoping that the symptoms ease considerably and we can get on with enjoying being together!
