Where is the best place to get strong, fun dogs toys? I mean I buy Zeke toys all the time but he just shreds them. What toys do you lot prefer? He has a kong which he loves and hasn't got through that yet. The toys can not be the plastic ones as he just destroys them. I've looked on ebay but well none of them catch my interest! I need something he can really get his teeth into as he loves chewing especially with him teething. thinking

Stag bars are great, otherwise I just but cheap stuff as Moo just loves to shred things, she doesn't like things she can't ruin Laughing

I have been looking at the stag bars, they look decent and well every morning I wake up there is a shredded toy. He just loves to chew! Laughing

StagBars are great.

Logan doesn't play with toys generally. He would much rather have a teddy, or a rolled up pair of socks Rolling Eyes Laughing

I gave up on spending too much money on toys as my two also like to shred. Now they get boxes and permission to shred them to pieces! (Under supervision). Also, we were advised that 2 litre plastic bottles are fun. They love the sound of the plastic scrunching and just having the job to run around with them. But again I always supervise. I've also bought a big bag of stuffing and cheap material and am going to make them stuffed toys specifically for shedding. Giving this outlet has saved them ever wanting to chew my furniture etc Laughing

Yes Zeke gets 2ltr bottles. He adores them. Might just give them to him instead of spending a fortune on toys! Touch wood.. Non of my furniture is chewed... yet! thumbs up

We've heard it suggested that you put little stones or something in the bottles and put the lid back on but I'm dead set against that as they an chew the lid off, swallow the lid and swallow the stones Straight Face What we did the other day was half fill the bottle with water and ice them over night - -they had a ball jumping on them to crush the ice and then drink the water Laughing

I would also recommend a stag bar, these are available from Pets At Home or Jolleys also on line. These are a natural product and not harmful to your dog. Great for chewers.

Katy loves doing the recycling! Plastic bottles to rip apart, cardboard boxes to shred (providing she lets us get our stuff out 1st) The only downside is the mess! Just waiting for someone to invent a hoover with a dumper bucket attachment rolling on the floor

Looks like people have already mentioned the good ol' stag bar! Smile That's the best, in my opinion - safe, durable, fun for the dog.

We have a bull terrier, so it's extremely difficult to find anything that he can't get through. Until recently, no toy really lasted him more than ten minutes of play. We've found that thick, solid rubber (the strong kind, similar to car tyres!) toys are better, but play is still supervised.

You could also try things like Boomer Balls. They come in different sizes and colours and are made from the same material as bowling bowls, I believe. Very strong and fun to chase. Smile

Stag bar for me too, darcy shreds her toys too so like Janey I buy cheaper ones. I love the idea of frozen water in a plastic bottle. Big Grin
