Kennels Empty Kennels

Post by reuben Fri Apr 05 2013, 09:32

The Wee Man is going into kennels for the first time on Sunday as myself and the OH are off to Dubai for a week.

Who's going to give him his " first thing in the morning" cuddle he loves?
Who'll take him for all his long walks each day?
Who will sit on the settee with him to watch The Chase at 5 ?
Who'll give him his bedtime kong stuffed with sweet potato?

The kennels come recommended by friends and are heated and the boarders well cared for and I know he'll be fine, but as the day gets closer I am starting to feel guilty.
Just as well he's not spoiled or it would be even harder.
My last dog used to go to my daughter's place in the country for his hols and loved it but, unfortunately, she is in Colorado now.

Words of comfort please. Sad Sad

I'm going to need to do this some time soon and I feel exactly the same!

Zeus has never gone away for the night by himself and I could imagine him moaning/crying all night if he was by his own Crying or Very sad
