Just saying hello. I recently lost our 14 year old staff cross. I felt lost without someone to walk with and having no one greet me at the door hammered home our loss even more. We decided to pop to the pound and see if we clicked with any dog. We wanted a staff or staff cross and knew our local pound was crammed full. We fell in love with a lovely 8 month old staff bitch who my daughter named Rosie. We since found out her owner just moved out and left her and another dog locked in the kitchen. It was 4 days before neighbours smashed a window to rescue them. She's a lovely dog but has had no training. Wasn't house trained etc. we're lucky she's retained such a lovely nature and adores our kids. I expect ill be asking for lots of training tips in the next few months! We're just trying to tackle her seperation anxiety at the moment
