ewww squirty bum

On walk today we had a nice sit down as Diesel needs to learn to be calm around the excitement of people, dogs, kids ect. A lady jogger came past and diesel was barking at her, i think he was quite frightened of her, well he squirty some liquid out of hes bum, i thought the only thing it can be is hes anal gland. never ever seen his before, is it cause he was frightened?

Quite possibly. Anxiety can do funny things to dogs!

Don't try & sympathise with him when he's anxious, though - just talk quietly & calmly & then praise him when he's calm.

Oh yes i do, i ignore the excited behaviour and reward the calm behaviour
