Was quite sad to see one of the muntjac deer injured - there's a picture with some blood, but it isn't at all gory. Just some red droplets visible behind the ear.

I love it when they hold tails as well! They're trained to do it, but it still looks so sweet! Especially the wittle calf!

It looks like a good zoo my fAvourites are the penguins !

Ignoring the weather, the zoo itself was very good. Animals that wouldn't interact with each other in the wild (penguins and lions, for instance) weren't put close to each other in the zoo, which I think is useful for allowing them to exhibit natural behaviour.

Something I also liked about it was the way some of the predators and prey were housed. The cheetah enclosure was right next to the antelope enclosure, so that the predator/prey instincts of both species could be practiced. There were also large areas of each enclosure that were sheltered with shrubbery, so unnecessary stress wouldn't be caused.
