Could he be crossed with something?

Me and my OH were looking on some movies about Staffies on youtube and we noticed that Debo looks different . I mean, I don't care. Just wondering. He's head is smaller ( I know he's only 1 year old) ,he's muzzle is longer and he looks pretty slim. He weight 18kg and is 16,6' tall. What do you thing?

I would say he is just a Staffy.

He is only half an inch above the breed standard and weight is fine. They also do a lot of filling out between 1 and 2

They come in different shapes and sizes. It's the same with all breeds.

He is lovely

He probs still filling out, tyke was still growing at that age and he mixed with something but he still a staff to us lol

He is def a stafford Jola. And a nice one.

Probably a Staff. If you don't have papers for him I guess you'll never be 100% certain, but I think your worries are things that might change because he's still growing. Loki's a cross, and you can tell he's a cross easily I think Debo just looks like a lovely Staff

Without a doubt very much a staff, I have a hyena cross but love her all the same

Thank you guys. We don't have papers. Debo is our first Staffy and we fall for breeder words that both parents are Staffies just not registered. I know better now. But wouldn't change Debo for any other dog, He's my baby.

Some Staffs are Bully with short noses, deep chests and broad shoulders, some are more terrier with longer snouts and a leaner look, he's just got more terrier than bull,and he's gorgeous

Debo is one of my forum favourites I know it's not nice to have favourites but I'm the same with my kids , nah I'm kidding about the kid bit but something worth mentioning, I often see 3 other staffs that came from the same litter as Stig, the differences are vast when all 4 dogs are put together and they are all looked after in very similar ways (with the exception of 1) like the others are saying they come in all different shapes and sizes, and Debo certainly looks 100% Staff

He looks like typical Staffy to me, what little I know. No point in worrying over things you cannot change, just enjoy him for what he is, an adorable, loving dog

he weighs the same as romeo and romeo is pedigree with papers, so dont worry about the weigh so much. in fact romeo is way too big all over, but in no way fat. i have seen so many different looking staffs at the shows that nothing suprises me any more. with out papers, you'll never know if he's pedigree staffy or not
