A dog called Gypsy

I had never envisioned that I would own a Staffy due to negative press. I had put them on par with Pit-Bulls who receive equally notorious media coverage, if not worse. (A little contradictory considering my family's history with Doberman Breeding, ownership of a Boxer and currently owning a pure-bred Rottweiler)
Two weeks ago this prejudice has put it's tail between the hind legs and I have become a convert after a mere two weeks of owning a beautiful ebony Staffy mix 10 week old pup (English/American Staffy with bull terrier thrown into the mix) My husband and his son are not dog lovers and have not bonded at all with my Rottweiler (has been lovingly fostered by my retired parents) however they are interacting lovingly and playfully with Gypsy. Or 'Gyps' as I have called her for short. (Perhaps I should change that to 'Gypso' being Aussie born?

Gypsy today walked alongside me on a 3km walk without a leash and without venturing from my sight. She truly is a beautiful gift.
