My Stinks McPinks had surgery... Empty My Stinks McPinks had surgery...

My Bartholomew tore his tendon on Monday night and had to have surgery today. He didn't whimper or whine NOT ONCE!!! That little 5 month old guy is so tough...he completely has my heart!!! He comes home tomorrow afternoon.

Yep! When he first injured it he was very calm and didn't want to move about too much. On Tuesday after we went to the vet he was itching to run around in the yard! Good thing is the surgeon said he should be 100% in just 2-3 weeks...until then it's gonna be a whole lotta "Stop Bart!" "Sit down buddy.", etc... Laughing

This made me realize just how much I love this little guy. He had me almost in tears at the vet knowing that he was hurt...and I am not a crying type of person.

Update: The surgeon did an incredible job on Wednesday. No stitches or staples since he closed it from inside. Bart was able to put some weight on it the very next day. He is already active and can jump up on the sofa (although I do everything possible to stop him from doing this... I dont want to s ) he has been pretty calm on doing too many things. He should be completely back to normal in a couple of months as his healing has been quite fast. The surgeon said since he was a puppy with "loads of blood pockets" it would be a very quick heal. Glad my little guy won't be lame!! He had me worried!!
