Nasty man!

hmm another tale of prejudice over our beloved staffies. A while back i posted of a labrador puppy owner who completely over-reacted when our two puppies who are the same age met, at 5 months, they sniffed noses, mine went to sniff his dogs backside, his dog growled at mine to stop it and this man jumped in the middle making my dog ever so excited thinking it was a game, leads became tangled, he had mine at arms length by the collar before i had chance to realise what the hell was going on. Then had the gall when i met him the next day minus my dog to say my dog was a firecracker and had tried to bite him and his dog! Told me in no circumstances should i be bringing up kids with my little firecracker.

I let it wash over me and told him he was daft and carried on. Today 3 months on, walking my beloved tash saw this same puppy out with this mans daughter and her friends, i was walking up with tash walking brilliantly to heel and this girl said really loudly, watch out this dogs not nice!

Im fuming that my poor tash is getting a reputation from these idiots when she hasnt done a thing!

Sounds like you've met another "expert" who actually knows nothing about dogs. My advice is, rise above. Don't let people like that annoy you or you will never enjoy having a great dog.

There is a horrible woman who lives near me and when I drive in to my house she runs to the door and tells the kids to go inside because of my dog. Logan is totally bomb proof with children, he loves them, yet somehow respects they are small and not to jump up etc (whereas he jumps all over grown ups Laughing

). I'm a responsible dog owner like you, so she is totally out of order.

However, I just laugh at her. She knows nothing and is making herself look like a fool, not me. You are doing a good job and are responsible, that's all that matters Smile

I'm yet to have met anyone whilst out walking that has been like that, I don't think I'd be able to bite my tongue though! I'd have to tell them what I think! Small minded Idiots!!

Saying that..... My own 'soon to be mother in law' now doesn't visit our house because she 'doesn't like that kind of dog'!!
