Homeless people

Every year i donate to a homeless charity at christmas. I love christmas and i love being with family and snuggling by the fire and eating way too much. Homeless people just don't get that and that really traumatises me.

So if you are preparing for christmas and thinking what prezzies and food to buy, please spare a few dimes for someone homeless.

with the cuts on benefits I'm sure there a lot more homeless this year it's so sad... these people need help

It does, i esp donate to homeless charities. It feels really good to know my few pounds will feed, clothe, wash and give someone a warm bed. Hopefully that will make them re-evaluate and want to get out of homelessness for good

Very true, esp families with children or perhaps families who split up.

I normally give something to the Sally Army.

I usually volunteer at a shelter over the xmas period So many lovely people!

I always donate a little at Christmas to Woodgreen Animal charity, this is where Rocky came from and I like to help them out a bit at this time of year. I buy raffle tickets and make a donation at the same time.

Horrible time of year for the homeless. Freezing weather and no family to share this great time of year with.

Not quite the same i know; but there are a couple of ladies in their mid eighties near us and neither have local family so i always invite them round for Christmas dinner.

We always donate to the Salvation Army they really do help the homeless , we were in Blackpool two years ago for Xmas and they were going round the streets looking for the homeless and then taking them to their unit for a Xmas dinner.
