We are rescuing a 10 year old Staffie from our local rescue centre in the next couple of days. She has been there for quite some time and is a little thin and has chewed her tail. She was rescued by the RSPCA as she had been beaten but this doesn't seem to have upset her too much. She was a little hand shy initially but is ok now. She is a real sweetie and walks really well on her harness. She has a cloudy eye from being stung and is little deaf. She has also had some fatty tissue removed recently from tummy but we are told it was not cancerous. We are really looking forward to having her, however, we are new to the breed and would welcome any advice.
